Mathematical Miracle in Lexical Harmony

88- Say, “If all the humans and the jinns came together in order to produce a The Quran like this, they would surely fail, no matter how much assistance they lent one another.”

1 - A Day

The word “a day” (yewm) is used 365 times in the Quran. The figure 365 does not only represent the number of days in the calendar, but it is also the figure that shows the astronomic relationship between our world and the sun. When our world completes its round around the sun, it has revolved 365 times around its own axis. In other words, when the world has completed its cycle around the sun, this means we have lived 365 days on earth. It is important that the word “one day” has been used 365 times in the Quran, because the world’s revolution around the sun takes 365 days. The exact number 365 is not accidental! This word alone is enough to show that there is a conscious order in the Quran. The dimension of the miracles will be clearer when 50 examples in this section and the section on the number 19 are carefully examined.

2 - Days

The different use of the word “day” in the Quran is a miraculous phenomenon. While the singular word “a day” is used 365 times, the plural of it (eyyam, yewmeyn) is used 30 times. This represents the number of the days in a month which is 30. So it is meaningful that while the singular “day” (yewm) is mentioned 365 times, the plural of it (eyyam, yevmeyn) is mentioned 30 times.

In the solar calendar, the months have either 30 or 31 days and in the lunar calendar the months have either 29 or 30 days. So, the number 30 is the intersection group for both calendars. In the community to which the Quran was revealed, the lunar calendar was in use; the mention of “30” is therefore meaningful. It takes 29.53 days for the moon, the planet in the sky, to make a month. The rounded figure is 30. With such mathematical miracles, we witness that the Quran calculates correctly this rounding up bussiness. Likewise, the world completes its cycle around the sun in 365.25 days exactly. The rounded figure is 365.

3 - The Derivativesof the Word Day

We saw that the singular “day” (yewm) is mentioned 365 times, and the plural of it, 30 times in the Quran. The use of all the derivatives of the word “day” is 475. This means that the singular, plural and all the other derivatives totals up to 475. 475 is equal to 19X25. (After we study this mathematical miracle in this section, we will also examine it in the miracle of 19 section and show better what the number 19 indicates). You will understand better what the number 19 indicates, after you read the section in question. Sometimes, the MMLC and the miracle of the number 19 may be interconnected as in this example. Since the use of the word “day” shows the miraculous characteristic, apart from the miracle of the number 19, we have presented the discoveries on that in MMLC section too.

Like the multiplier 19, the number 25 also has a significant meaning. As we have already mentioned, days are formed as a result of the relationship between the earth and the sun. The earth revolves around its own axis 365 times while completing its cycle around the sun and during this time the sun also revolves around itself. As the earth revolves around itself 365 times, how many times the sun must have revolved itself? 25 times exactly. This number, pointed out by the miracle easy to understand but impossible to imitate, was not at the time of the descent of the Quran in the region in question. They had no idea about it. It is a miracle that the Quran, by references to repeated numbers, points out; and the fact that those numbers indicated things unknown at the time is another miracle.

On the other hand, the figure19, multiplier of 25 has an important role within the context of the concept of the relationship between the sun- the earth and day. Because a meton cycle that is when the sun, the earth and the moon come to a same line, occurs in every 19 years. That is to say, the sun turns around itself the number 19X25=475 times in a Meton cycle. (Read the next chapter, MMLC 4) Yes, exactly 475 times. This number is equal to the number of times the derivatives of the word “day” is used in the Quran.

4 - Year

The derivatives of the word “year” (sinet, sinin) are mentioned 19 times in the Quran. The solar and lunar calendars need correction because of the leap year. When the world revolves around the sun 365 times, the moon revolves around the earth and itself 12 times. This constitudes a year. But when the earth completes its revolvation and arrives at the starting point, the moon is behind the schedule. It takes the earth and the moon 19 years to meet at the same starting point. This cycle of 19 years is called the Meton cycle. The lunar calendar re-arranged in every 19 years, ends up with 7 leap years (355 days) and 12 full years (354 days) during this period. It is also another surprising characteristic of the miracles that the singular year (sinet) is used 7 times, whereas the plural year (sinin) is used 12 times in the Quran. And all the derivatives of the word “year” are used 19 times, an indication of the Meton cycle.

The earth lines up with the sun and the moon every 19 years. In the Quran, the words “sun” and “moon” are often used in the same verses, exactly 19 times; the same number that makes a “Meton cycle” corresponding to the same number the word “year” is used in the Quran. It is interesting to note that on the 19th time, these two words are used together, we have the following verse:

9- And the sun and the moon are conjoined.
                                    75. The Resurrection, 9

The overlapping of the meaning and of the mathematical concordance is a miracle. Now let us look at the table where the words “sun” and “moon” are used together (In 41st sura, verse 37; these words are used twice).

If you add up the numbers of the suras and the verses these words are used:
6 + 96 + 7 + 54 + 10 + 5 + 12 + 4 + 13 + 2 + 14 + 33 + 16 + 12 + 21 + 33 + 22 + 18 + 29 + 61 + 31 + 29 + 35 + 13 + 36 + 40 + 39 + 5 + 41 + 37 + 41 + 37 + 55 + 5 + 71 + 16 + 75 + 9 = 1083 (the number 19X57) and 57=the number 19*3.

Please keep in mind this concordance formed by the multiples of 19, and remember it, in the following chapters on the miraculous number of 19.

The MMLC in the Quran shows itself both in the sura and verse numbers. This proves that the Quran’s miraculous order covers even the numbers of the suras and verses.

5 - That Day and the Resurrection Day

We saw earlier that the word “day” in the Quran, with its singular, plural and derivative uses constitudes a miracle. Apart from this, the noun phrases of the same word also produce mathematical miracles as well. For example, we see this miracle in phrases like “that day” used in connection with the end of the world (yewme izin) and the “the day of resurrection day” (yewmül qiyameh). Both noun phrases are used; 70 times. Here are two example verses for these words:

8- Many faces will be joyous on that day.

      88. He Who Besieged, 8

67- …the whole earth is within His fist on the day of resurrection.

6 - The Moon

The word moon (Qamar), is used exactly 27 times in the Quran together with its derivatives. This number is equal to the number which is the moon’s ecliptic cycle around the world. (We mentioned the Quran’s description of the moon in the 15th and 16th chapters of our book’s first section). The Quran indicates that both the sun and the moon are based on calculation. (Gracious, 55) The sun’s and the moon’s definition in terms of mathematics is interesting and these words in question are mathematically coded in the Quran.

7 - The Months

The earth’s revolution around the sun makes 365 days while, the moon’s 12 revolution around the earth makes12 months. The Quran says that there are 12 months in year. As we all know, a year consists of 12 months. On the other hand, in the Quran, the word “a month” (þehr) is also mentioned 12 times to indicate that there are 12 months in a year. The following verse mentions this:

36- …twelve is the number of months with God…

8 - The Date of the Landing on the Moon

In chapter 16, we studied the expressions in the Quran that alluded to man’s landing on the moon. One of the most important among the signs is in the first verse of the sura “Qamar”. The number of verses to be counted from this verse to the end of the Quran is 1398. The year 1389 in the Muslim calendar corresponds to the year 1969 in the Gregorian calendar. And the year 1969 was the year when man landed on the moon for the first time. (On the other hand, the number 1389 also points out that man will land on the moon 1389 years after this verse or the Quran was revealed by God. Because the Muslim calendar had started at a time when the revelation was not completed.)

1- The Hour has come and split the moon has.
                                                      54 – The Moon, 1

How many verses are there from the first verse of the sura Qamar till the end of the Quran? 1389

In which Muslim year did the first man land on the moon? 1389

9 - The Land-Sea Ratio

The word sea (bahr) is used 32 times in the Quran. The word bahr is used both for the sea and other waters like lakes and rivers. The word land (berr, yabas) is used 13 times. If we calculate the ratio of 32 to 45 the result is 71.111%.

You may look up in any encyclopedia in the world and see that the lands cover 71% of the earth whereas the seas cover 29% of it. It is really an interesting miracle that scientific and the Quranic ratios of the lands to the seas are exactly the same. This knowledge which was not available in Muhammad’s time is coded in the Quran with concordance of words. People who will outgrow their stubbornness will see that this is an easy to understand and impossible to imitate miracle.

10 - The Color White

White is the source of all colors. In the color spectrum, we can witness that from white derive seven other colors. And when those seven colors come together, we have the white color. Thus, white has a special place among the other colors. In the Quran “to be white” is expressed by the word “ebyad”. The mathematical value of this word is 813. (In Arabic, the same characters are used both for numbers and letters. That is why each letter, and consequently each word, has a numerical value). If we add up the numbers of the verses where the color white is mentioned, we end up with the mathematical value of the word, viz 813.

12 - Atomic Number of Iron

There are many references to the chemical characteristics of iron, in the Quran. Let us see first the verse which mentions the importance and characteristics of iron:

25- We have surely sent our messengers with clear signs, and sent with them the Book and the Balance, so that man may stand by justice; and We sent down the iron, wherein there is strength, and many benefits for the people.
                                                                                                              57. The Iron, 25

The verb “inzal” in the Quran is usually used to describe the action of coming from above the earth. The verb “inzal” refers to the fact that a creation in the world has taken place following an event exterior to the earth. The temperature of the earth was not sufficient, at the beginning, for the formation of iron. Not only the earth, but even a middle sized sun like ours did not have the heat necessary for the formation of iron. That is why iron must have come to our planet from outer space, as well as to the entire solar system. The iron we have in our planet today must have come to our solar system from other suns which had higher temperatures favorable for the formation of iron. To allude to iron, the Quran uses the verb “inzal” to explain its origin is the space.

The Quran shows other mathematical miracles by pointing out the iron’s atomic number, which is 26, in different ways.

1. In the Quran, there is a mathematical value for every letter. (We gave all the letters and their numerical values in the chapters on 19). The mathematical value for the word iron (hadid) is 26.

2. The verse which refers to iron is the 25th verse in the sura Hadid. If we count Basmalah as a numbered verse then that number is 26.

3. The name God mentioned in this verse for 26th time is in the 25th verse. The atomic number of an element is the main characteristic of that element and is determined by the number of its protons which are the building blocks of that element. Iron’s atomic number is 26 because of its 26 protons. The fact that from the beginning of the sura Iron (Hadid) till the end of the verse of that sura that alludes to iron, the word God is used 26 times.

13 - Iron’s Isotopes

As the iron’s atomic number is encoded in the sura that mentions iron, there is also a sign in that sura about the iron’s isotopes.

1. The word “el hadid” which means a particular iron has a mathematical value of 57. The article “el” corresponds to “the” in English. When the word hadid is used with the article “el”, referring to a specific iron, the mathematical value turns out to be 57.

3. The sura Iron (hadid) is the 58th sura from the end of the Quran. That is another isotope of iron.

4. This sura has 29 numbered verses. This number becomes 30 when the unnumbered Basmalah is counted. This number is equal to the neutron numbers of two isotopes of iron, from the total of four. The frequency of the word God in this sura gives the neutron number of the other isotope.

14 - The Highest Degree

One of the verses of the Quran, points out that God is the owner of the possessor of high degrees. The verse is:

15- Possessor of the high degrees, and Ruler of the whole dominion. He sends inspiration, bearing His commands, to whomever He chooses from among His Servants to warn about the Day of Gathering.
                                                                                         40. The Believer, 15

“Reify el-derecaat” is translated as “the possessor of the high degrees”, but it can also be translated as “the one who increases the degrees”. The word “refii” expresses highness and the word “el-derecat” expresses the degrees. The mathematical value of “refii”, which states the highest degree, is 360. And this number is the equivalent of the highest degree in the universe. The mathematical values are as follows:

The word  The mathematical value of the word

15 - The Surah on Honey-Bees

We observe that in the Quran, the honey bee is mentioned more specifically than other animals. (We presented this subject in the 43rd and the 44th chapters). There are many examples of animals in the Quran but none of them is mentioned in particular except the honey-bee and none of them is mentioned in successive verses. The number of this sura is 16 and entitled honey-bees (nahl). The number of this sura and the number of the chromosomes of the male honey-bee are equal. The number of chromosome of the female honey-bee is 2n which is equal to 32 (16X2). So the number of the sura indicates the number of chromosomes. The number of chromosome of an element is like the atomic number of that element, it can not be changed. Everywhere in the world, the number of chromosomes of the male honey-bees is 16 and every female honey-bee has 32 chromosomes. On the other hand, the verse number of this sura is 128, this means; 8 times the number of chromosomes of the male honey-bee (16) and also 4 times the number of chromosomes of the female honey-bee (32). Just like the number of this sura, the verse number is proportional to the number of chromosomes of the honey-bee.

In this sura, the verses 68 and 69 mention the honey-bees. The first verse, 68 has 13 words. If we count the words from the beginning of this sura up to the word honey-bee (nahl) in that verse, we come up with 884 letters. Let us see if this number has any meaning. This number is equal to the product of the verse number 68 (68X13=884). Can this be coincidence? There are many different ways in which the Quran shows its mathematical miracles.

16 - World and Hereafter

The Quran speaks of two lives: the one in this “world” (Dunya), which is finite, and the other in the “hereafter” (Ahiret) which is infinite. The relation between these words in the Quran is very clear. These two words which are used sometimes together in a verse and sometimes separately, are mentioned 115 times each. There are two examples below:

185- The life of this world is no more than an illusion.
                                                     3. The Family of Imran, 185

17 - Angels and the Devil

The word “angel” associates in many people the “devil” itself. All derivatives of these two interrelated words are used in the Quran 88 times each. It is interesting to note that the most frequent form of these two words “eþ-þeytan” and “el-melaike” are used, 68 times each in the Quran. Two examples for these words:

6- Devil is certainly your enemy

18 - Benefit and Corruption

The word “benefit” (en nef) is used 50 times in the Quran with all its derivatives. The same is true for the word “corrupt” (fesad), that is, it and its derivatives are used 50 times as well. Corruption (fesad) is a social evil and condemned by the Quran. A person can not benefit (en nef) from corruption (fesad). The result of corruption is the opposite of benefit. The use of these two words with negative meanings being in equal number can not be a coincidence. This may be witnessed in the following verses:

55- And remind, for the reminder benefits the believers
                                                         51. The Dispersing, 55

19 - Sexual crime, Transgression and Wrath

The word “sexual crime” (fahsha) and its derivatives are used 24 times in the Quran. The word “transgression” (baghy) and its derivatives are used 24 times also. Since these behaviors deserve wrath, the word “wrath” also is used 24 times in the Quran.

The relationship between the words “sexual crime” (fahsha) and “transgression” is seen clearly in the verse below:

90- …and forbidden sexual crime, impropriety and transgression
                                                                                 16. The Honey-Bees 90

An example for the wrath is below:

20 - Dirtiness and Nastiness

In the Quran, the words dirtiness (rics) and nastiness (ricz) have almost similar pronunciation and spelling: the word “rics” refers to dirtiness brought by human hand and the word “ricz” refers to nastiness caused by the dirtiness generated by human hand. These two words are used 10 times in order to show the relation between them. The two verses given below are examples of these words used in the Quran:

33- …God desires to remove all dirtiness from you…

22 - Satan and Seek Refuge

In the Quran, we are told that Satan is the enemy of mankind. Muslims should seek refuge in God in order to be protected from the evil of Satan. The relationship between these two words is crystal clear for the people who know the Quran. These two words are used in equal numbers i.e., 11 times each. Examples are given below;

50- …they fell prostrate, except Satan. He was one of the jinns and rebelled against His Lord’s command…

23 - Sorcery and Temptation

From the Quran, we learn that sorcery is a temptation. It is in the same verse that these two words are used for the first time. (The Cow, 102) In this verse, the relationship between these words is clear. These words and their derivatives are used 60 times each. The verse in which they are used for the first time as follows:

102- …Solomon, however was not a disbeliever, while the devils were disbelievers. Thus, they taught the people sorcery that was sent down through the two angels of Babel, Harut and Marut, who however never taught it without saying: ”We are only a temptation. Be not then a disbeliever”…

24 - Language and Advice

 In order to have someone do something, people use different methods like rewarding, punishment or advising. In rewarding, there is something pleasant and in punishment there is something unpleasant. In the process of advising language is used as a tool. The difference between advice and rewarding and punishment is; advising is done only by using the language as a tool where as many other tools can be used for the other two methods. These two connected words, “language” (lisan) and “advice” (mevize) are used in equal numbers, 25 times each. Two examples are given below from the Quran;

22- Among His signs are the creation of the heavens and earth, and the variations in your languages and your colors. Surely there are signs in these for those who understand.

Many sentences in the Quran are in the form of reported speech using the formula “they said” (Qalu) and yet many orders are expressed by another formula “say” (Qul). These two words which have very clear relationships are used many times in the Quran; 332 times each. The total number of the use of these two words is 664. This number is so big that it is even bigger than the words used in the last 15 suras of the Quran. Mathematical miracle of the Quran has surrounded it in a unique way. The Quran itself is a total miracle, such a miracle that it is easy to understand and impossible to imitate.

26 - Mercy and Guidance

In the Quran, the words “mercy” (rahmet) and “guide” (hüda) are used together in 13 verses. Actually only this is enough to show the relation between these words. God’s guidance of mankind is the biggest mercy for them. These two words are used in the Quran 79 times each in the same format. The words “Rahman (Gracious), “Rahim” (Merciful) and other derivatives which come from the same stem of the word “rahmet”, are all used in a way that they all form a mathematical miracle. We shall examine the in the next chapter and in the section 19. Below is an example of a verse where the words “mercy” and “guide” are used together.

77- It is a guide and mercy for the believers.
                                                   27. The Ant, 77

The word Number of occurrence
Mercy 79
Guide 79

27 - Mercy, Merciful and Gracious

We saw that the word in the form of “mercy” (rahmet) derived from the stem of “RHM” is used in 13 verses together with word “guide” (hüda) in the previous chapter and that they are mentioned 79 times each. All the derivatives of “mercy” (rahmet) are mentioned 114 times (Rahmet 79 times, rahmetike 3 times, rahmetina 5 times, rahmetini 25 times, rahmeti 2 times) The name; “rahim” of God also comes from the same stem, RHM, and is used exactly half the times these words are mentioned, viz. 57 times. The mathematical miraculous use of these words performs more detailed miracles on the miracle of 19 in the Quran (They are investigated in details way in chapters on 19.)

1- It is a guide and mercy for the believers.
                                                1. The Prologue, 1

The word Number of occurrence
Mercy 114(57X2)
Merciful 114(57X2)
Gracious 57

28 - Righteousness and Reward

The word “birr”, which means righteousness and all its derivatives, are mentioned 20 times the Quran. God informs us that we shall reap what we have sown in the next world. None of our good deeds will be left unrewarded. All the derivatives of the word “reward” (sewab) good deeds are used in equal numbers, i.e. 20 times. Below are two verses in which these words are used;

2- …but help one another in righteousness and piety…
                                                                     5. The Feast, 2

195- …and the best of rewards is with God.
                                                3. The Family of Imran 195

The word Number of occurrence
Righteousness 20
Reward 20

29 - Hope and Fear

The Quran mentions that “hope” (raghben) and “fear” (reheben) should co exist in praying ritual. Keeping these two conflicting feelings in balance will save us from despair, on one hand and from being spoiled and arrogant on the other. These two words, used in conjunction and present two divergent feelings, are mentioned 8 times each, in the Quran. Below is an example;

90- ...These were men who vied in good deeds with one another, and prayed to Us with hope and fear…
                                                                                                          21. The Prophets, 90

The word Number of occurrence
Hope 8
Fear 8

30 - Cold and Hot

 If you ask someone to tell the first thing that comes into his mind when he hears the word “cold”, his answer will usually be “hot”. One of these two opposites, “hot” (hare) is mentioned 4 times with all its derivatives while; the word “cold” (berd) is also mentioned 4 times. Below, two verses are given as an example;

81- …and clothes for protection against the hot.
                                                         16. The Honey-Bees, 81

69- We said “O fire, be cold and safe for Abraham.”
                                                        21. The Prophets, 69

The word Number of occurrence
Hot 4
Cold 4

31 - Plant, Grow and Fruit

The word “heraset” which means planting the crops, is mentioned 14 times in the Quran. “Ziraat” which means growing of the crops from the earth is also mentioned 14 times. The final result of all these steps, the “fruit” (fakihe), is again mentioned 14 times. The verse below contains examples for these words;

63- Have you noted the crops you plant?
64- Did you grow them, or did we?
                                                  56. The Inevitable, 63, 64

73- You will have fruits in abundance there to eat
                                                  43. Vanity, 73

The word Number of occurrence
Plant 14
Grow 14
Fruit 14

32 - Tree and Plant

The word “shecer” which means “tree” and all of its derivatives are mentioned 26 times in the Quran. The word “nebat” which means “plant” and all of its derivatives are also used 26 times. Below are two verses as example for these words;

60- … whereby We produce gardens full of beauty, you could not possibly manufacture its trees…
                                                                                                                   27. The Ant, 60

99- He sends down water from the sky, to produce with it all kinds of plants…
                                                                                                                  6. The Cattle, 99

The word Number of occurrence
Tree 26
Plant 26

33 - Sin and Sexual Crime, Transgression, Wrath

We saw, in MMLC 19, that the words “sexual crime” (fahsha), “transgression” (baghy) and “wrath” (ghazabun) were mentioned 24 times each, in the Quran. All these words are connected with the word “sin” (el-ism). Especially since the words “sexual crime” (fahsha) and “transgression” (baghy) imply the word “sin” (el-ism), their relationship are clear. And since behaviors which would entail wrath (ghazabun) are also considered as sin, the word “wrath” (ghazabun) is also related to the word “sin” (el-ism). As the words related to sin are used 24 times each, the word “sin” (el-ism) itself is used twice as much, viz. 48 times (24X2). As some words are used in equal numbers forming a mathematical miracle, sometimes some others are mentioned twice as often to perform a different kind of miracle. We shall give some examples to this kind of miracle in the following chapters. We gave examples for the words “sexual crime”, “transgression” and “wrath” in MMLC the number 19. Below is an example for “sin” (el-ism)

120- You should avoid both, the visible and invisible sins.
                                                                         6. The Cattle, 120

The word Number of occurrence
Sin 48 (24X2)
Sexual crime 24
Transgression 24
Wrath 24

34 - Rich and Poor

The word “rich” (ghani) in the Quran is mentioned 26 times. The opposite, “poor” (fakr) is mentioned 13 times, half as much. It is another miracle of the Quran that these opposite words which have a meaning relationship also represent a numerical miracle. The verse below is an example:

38- You are invited to spend in the cause of God, but some of you turn stingy. The stingy are stingy towards their own souls. God is rich while you are poor.
                                                                                                            47. Muhammad, 38

The word Number of occurrence
Rich 26(13X2)
Poor 13

35 - Thamud and The Noise

From the Quran, we learn that the Thamud society had been destroyed by a noise (sahya) sent upon them. By this definition, we learn that there is a relationship between the words “Thamud” and the “noise” (sahya). These words which are presented as related; Thamud is used 26 times, and the word “noise” (sahya) is used 13 times, half as much. In the verses between 23 and 31 of the sura Moon, the Quran speaks of the destruction of the Thamud by a noise. In the 31st verse, it is mentioned that Thamud was destroyed by a noise.

31- We sent a noise upon them, whereupon they became like harvested hey.
                                                                                                     54. The Moon, 31

The word Number of occurrence
Thamud 26(13X2)
Noise 13

36 - The People of Lot and the Shower of rocks

In the previous chapter, we pointed out that between the 23rd and 31st verses of the sura Moon the Quran mentions the Thamud. And in the 31st verse of the same sura, it is mentioned that Thamud was destroyed with a noise (sayha). We tried to show the numerical relationship between the words “Thamud” and the “noise”. In the same sura, 3 verses later, in the 34th verse, it is mentioned that the people of Lot was destroyed by a shower of rocks (hasibe). In the Quran, while the phrases used for the people of Lot (kavmun Lot, Ihvanun Lot) are mentioned 8 times, the terms shower of rocks (hasibe) that destroyed that society is mentioned exactly half as much, viz, 4 times. It is important to notice that the destructions of Thamud and the people of Lot are mentioned in the same sura successively, and they both have the same lexical relationship between their names and the way they are destroyed. The verse of the sura Moon which mentions the destruction of the people of Lot is given below:

54- We showered them with rocks. Only Lot’s family was saved at dawn.
                                                                                                   54. The Moon, 34

The word Number of occurrence
The people of Lot  8(4X2)
The shower of rocks 4

37 - Destination and Forever

The Quran states that our destination (mesir) is God and the place we will go is hereafter. It is one of the most important messages of the Quran that our final destiny (mesir) in hereafter will be forever. (ebeden). These two words, destination (mesir) and forever (ebeden), which are clearly interrelated, are used in the Quran in equal number, viz. 28 times each. Below are two:

43- We are the one who give life and death and to Us will be the destination.
                                                                                                                   50. Qaf, 43

9- … Anyone who believed and did the right, He will remit his sins, and will admit him into gardens with flowing streams. They abide therein forever. This is the greatest triumph.
                                                                                                 64. Mutual Blaming, 9

The word Number of occurrence
Final destiny 28
Forever 28

38 - Act and Response

The word “act” (fiil) is mentioned 108 times in the Quran. The acts we perform will be responded (ecir) when the time comes. Whether we like or dislike the respond (ecir), it will be the consequence of our acts (fiil). And these words, “act” (fiil) and “respond” (ecir) in close relations to each other, are used in equal number in the Quran, 108 times each. It is the Quran’s miracle to perform such a perfect mathematical miracle as a whole even though it was completed piecemeal as circumstances necessitated.

There is not a second book which has so many mathematical lexical concordance and miracles. The Quran not only presents miracles from space high above to depths of the oceans, from mother’s womb to animal kingdoms, it also shows mathematical miracles by using words and phrases in concordance. It also accomplishes an important mission by introducing our creator to us.

The word Number of occurrence
Act 108
Response 108

39 - Sun and A Light

The most important source of light (nur) that comes to our world is the sun. Even the light (nur) from the moon is sun’s light because moon only reflects the sun’s light. Our sun is the source of light and heat. The relation between the words “sun” (shems) and “a light” (nur) is clear and these two words are used 33 times each. The singular form of light, “a light” is mentioned 33 times. Our sun is just one of the many light sources in the universe, but it is the most important one for us. The word “light” mentioned 33 times in the Quran is used equally 33 times with the word “sun” which itself is light. Below are two examples:

37- Among His signs are the night and the day, and the sun, and the moon.
